- Responsible for managing all community issues such as community relation, development and communication, blockage and demonstration, coordinate with police, military and local security group, and coordinate community projects.
- Perform the function of public relations to associate company policies into public interest within the company’s operational. Act as Public Relations to several events related to the media, such as preparing the press release and building good relationships with the press, also made publications in the internal and external media about the CSR activities of the company, and media monitoring.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with Police, Army, District Government, local community, and other stakeholders to support the company’s operational and ensure the safety and no dispute.
- Alert the management concerning potential problems of social and land dispute.
- Handle the social and teritorial problems such as land diputes, waste complaints, and other conflicts through the problem solving stages (meeting forums, mediation, and legal). Also, provide solutions for the problems to create a safe condition and ensure the ongoing of the operations. Working closely together with other departments in the company (Corporate Relations, HSE & Security, HR, etc) and with external parties (Police, Army, Dewan Adat).
- Coordinate with Polres and Brimob for mobilization and deployment of troops to company areas in case of mass demonstration.
- Organize personnel and handle following work areas: government relations, community relations, and communication.
- Set up policies and program designs for community relations & public relations.
- Liaise with Corporate Relations Department in Jakarta on media relations issues.
- Support the company to decide appropriate communications programs needed by employees & local community regarding the operation of the mine.
- Provide presentation materials as needed by the company for relevant stakeholders.
- Make monthly reports about the program implementation to be reported to the Government Relations Manager.

Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Political Science, Social Science/Sociology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience handling community around mining site area as Coordinator.
- Willing to be located on site and traveling to other site if needed.
- Salary is negotiable.
