- Reporting to the Project Director, the Manager Human Resources will lead the company’s Human Resources Department to achieve strategic and business goals, within time, cost, quality and safety parameters, to contribute to the corporate creed/vision, facilitate business improvements and to satisfy client needs. The incumbent will be initially based in Jakarta during the mine development stage and then work on a fly in / fly out roster to the mine site.
- Initiate and develop the HR Department’s strategic and annual business plans to determine key priorities consistent with the Company’s corporate goals and then monitor and review the Department’s performance to assess achievements within safety, quality, time and cost parameters;
- Provide human resources strategic planning, support, advice and leadership to the Company;
- Develop, maintain and adjust the Department’s organization structure and services to meet customers’ and stakeholders’ needs;
- Understand the needs and aspirations of line management, employees and their families, and employee representatives and manage those needs in line with the Company’s interests and the principles of mining industry best HR practice;
- Maintain an effective and ethical relationship with all levels of Government in respect of human resources matters, particularly with regards to compliance with labour law, regulations and reporting requirements;
- Keep abreast of human resources trends and mining industry best HR practice.

Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management, Economics, Psychology or Commercial.
- Excellent level for English (written and spoken)
- 10-15 years of professional experience, at the last 5 years as Manager for multinational companies.
- Strategic planning and operations management skills to establish and achieve long terms goals as well as performed business targets.
- Strong and effective leadership.
- Sound negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Willing to work at remote area with roster system (6 weeks on site / 2 week off site).
